Resetting Account

Players on UPUN have the option to reset their account, which allows them to start fresh while retaining certain key elements of their progress. This policy outlines how account resets work, what data is affected, and the limitations of this process.

What Happens During a Reset?

When a Player resets their account, the following data points and attributes will be reinitialized:

• Player Attributes: All Player attributes, such as XP, HP, NRG, Bytes, LVL, and other stats, will be reset.

• Campaign Data: Recommendations, profile activity, and accumulated skills will be wiped and reset to the default state.

• Game Progress: Any progress made throughout the campaign thus far will be reset.

What is Not Affected by a Reset?

Certain elements of the Player’s account will remain unaffected during a reset:

• Purchased or Earned Entities: Items such as consumables, gifts, milestones, and Love (♥) balance will remain intact and available to the Player.

• Personalized Preferences: Preferences such as profile settings, personal preferences, and customization choices will not be reset.

• Personal/Public Information: Information such as the Player’s personal data or public information tied to the account will not be affected.

• Active Quests, Services, and Group Events: Any active Quests, Services, or Group events will remain, though there may be limitations in effect based on the Player’s reset LVL.

• Subscriptions and Privileges: Subscriptions, including any active memberships, and privileges like verified badges will not be affected.

• Published Materials: Creations, Products, and Groups that have already been published will remain visible and unaffected.

Reverting a Reset

Players who reset their account may revert this decision within 1 week of the reset. After this period, the Player’s previous data will no longer be available, and the reset becomes permanent.

Multiple Resets

If a Player chooses to reset their account again after an initial reset, the previous saved data will be overwritten. Only one reset can be reverted at a time, so any subsequent resets will permanently erase the prior saved state.

Limitations After Reset

While many aspects of the Player’s account remain unaffected, certain limitations may apply to active quests, services, and group participation due to the Player’s reduced LVL after resetting. Players must reach the necessary LVLs to fully engage with these activities.
