Advertising, Promotions, and Sponsorships

At UPUN, we aim to provide a transparent and fair environment for both creators and players. Advertising, promotions, and sponsorships are valuable parts of content creation, but they must be clearly disclosed and follow our guidelines to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and maintain trust within the community.

Disclosure Requirements

• Mandatory Disclosure: All content that includes paid promotions, sponsorships, endorsements, affiliate links, or self-promotion must be clearly disclosed within the content’s settings. Creators must check the appropriate box to confirm that paid promotion is present, and a notification will be displayed to users viewing the content.

• Transparency: The disclosure must clearly state the nature of the promotional content, whether it is sponsored by a third party, includes affiliate links, or contains self-promotion.

• Compliance: By checking the disclosure box, creators affirm that the promotional material adheres to UPUN’s advertising policies as well as all applicable laws and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to, consumer protection and advertising laws in your region.

Prohibited Advertising Practices

• Deceptive or Misleading Content: All promotional content must be truthful and transparent. Misleading claims, false endorsements, or deceptive advertising practices are strictly prohibited.

• Unlawful Products or Services: The promotion of illegal goods, regulated substances (e.g., firearms, drugs), or prohibited services is not allowed on UPUN. Content promoting these items will be subject to removal and penalties.

• Impersonation or Infringement: Creators may not promote or advertise content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, or impersonates brands, products, or individuals for deceptive purposes.

Creator Responsibility

• Accurate Representation: Creators are responsible for accurately representing any products, services, or brands they promote. Misrepresentation of products or services can result in penalties, removal of content, or account suspension.

• Adherence to Platform Guidelines: All advertising, promotional, and sponsorship content must comply with UPUN’s Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, and other platform-specific rules related to content quality and user experience.

• Disputes: UPUN is not responsible for disputes arising between creators and sponsors or advertisers. Creators are solely responsible for fulfilling any contractual obligations and representing their sponsorships honestly and transparently.

Visibility of Sponsored Content

• Labeling and Filtering: UPUN may display sponsored content with appropriate labels indicating paid promotion. Players may customize their experience through their preferences, including the visibility of promotional material.

• Recommendations: Sponsored content will be treated with the same integrity as other content in our recommendation algorithm, but may be subject to user filtering or labeling in accordance with their preferences.

Enforcement and Penalties

• Violation of Policy: Failure to properly disclose paid promotion or engaging in deceptive promotional practices may result in content removal, suspension, or account termination. Repeated violations will result in stricter penalties.

• Reporting: Users can report content that they believe violates UPUN’s Advertising, Promotions, and Sponsorships policy. UPUN will review reported content and take appropriate action.
