Communication Activity

UPUN aims to maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all Players. To achieve this, we have established guidelines for communication activities to ensure that interactions on the platform are both secure and respectful. This policy covers all forms of communication, including messaging, comments, reviews, and interactions within Creations, Products, or Groups.

Communication Activity: Safety

For the safety and privacy of all Players, we enforce strict guidelines on sharing information and interacting with others. The following rules apply to all communication activities on UPUN:

• Do NOT share personal information: Players are prohibited from sharing contact details or any personal information in communication features, regardless of whether the information belongs to the Player or someone else. This includes emails, phone numbers, and physical addresses.

• Do NOT share unsolicited materials: Players should avoid sending materials without prior request. If sharing samples or work as part of a service, ensure that it is properly watermarked or includes a logo to prevent unauthorized use or abuse.

• Be cautious of unsolicited content: Exercise caution when opening attachments or downloading files sent by others. Although UPUN scans all files before making them available for download, Players should remain vigilant about the content they receive and its purpose.

• Avoid external links: Communication channels such as comments or messages do not permit external links. If a message contains an external link, report or flag it for further review.

Types of Communication to Be Aware Of

• Self-Promotion: Messages intended to promote Products outside of relevant channels.

• Requests for Free Work or Donations: Any requests for free services or gifts.

• Unsolicited or Deceptive Messages: Attempts to deceive Players or share irrelevant content.

• Potentially Harmful Content: Malware, phishing attempts, or other dangerous materials.

• Spam: Automated or repetitive messages that disrupt the platform.

• Inappropriate Requests: Including, but not limited to, questions or guidance on how to game the system.

Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in penalties, including the removal of content, suspension, or termination of the Player’s account.

Communication Activity: Language

UPUN fosters a positive and inclusive community. It is important to be mindful of the language used in any communication activity, including text, voice, and audiovisual content. Harmful language, whether explicit or implicit, will not be tolerated.

• Harmful Language: This includes offensive words, aggressive tones, or body language that may be harmful to others. Players must ensure their language is respectful and considerate.

  • Bad Words and Strong Language: UPUN uses an algorithm to filter and flag offensive language, including curse words, sexual content, and dangerous or infringing material. Attempts to bypass this filter, such as using alternate spellings, l33t encoding, or derivatives, will result in content removal and potential penalties, including suspension or termination.

  • Mild Language: Limited use of mild language (e.g., "darn," "crap") is acceptable. Players may also censor strong language using symbols (e.g., ****). However, excessive use of explicit language or continuous mild language across a Creation will lead to penalties.

  • Other Words: Words that are not inherently offensive but used in a harmful or offensive context may still be flagged.

• Negative Language/Disapproval: Players are encouraged to express disapproval respectfully. Feedback and criticism should be constructive, and negative language should be used with caution to avoid creating a hostile environment.

Violating this policy may result in content removal, penalties, suspension, or termination of the Player’s account. Content containing strong language must be properly labeled and may receive a Restriction Penalty. Mislabeled or inappropriate content, including illegal, pornographic, or harmful material, will be removed and may lead to more severe consequences. Voluntary restrictions on content do not exempt it from further review or removal.
