Harassment/Cyberbullying

UPUN does not allow any form of harassment or cyberbullying. Creations, Products, Groups, or Communication Activities that target someone with prolonged insults, slurs, or harmful behavior based on their physical traits or protected group status (such as age, disability, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, race) are strictly prohibited. Violations of this policy may result in the removal of offending materials and/or the penalization, suspension, or termination of the Player’s account. If you believe someone is in immediate danger, please contact your local law enforcement agency.

Prohibited Harassment/Cyberbullying Activities

The following behaviors are prohibited on UPUN:

• Targeting Physical or Intrinsic Attributes: Do NOT publish content that contains prolonged insults, slurs, or attacks on someone’s intrinsic attributes, including protected group status, physical appearance, or status as a survivor of sexual assault, non-consensual intimate imagery distribution, domestic abuse, or child abuse.

• Targeting Minors: Do NOT publish content that targets minors or Young Players with the intent to shame, deceive, insult, or incite distress. This includes attempts to make a minor feel emotions such as worthlessness, or encouraging harmful behavior toward themselves or their property.

Exceptions to the Policy

Certain exceptions are permitted under specific circumstances, though the content must be clearly identifiable:

• Debates about High-Profile Figures: Public debates related to high-profile officials or leaders are allowed within respectful boundaries.

• Scripted Performances: Insults or harsh language used in the context of artistic performances (e.g., satire, stand-up comedy, diss tracks) are allowed. However, claiming to be "joking" after harassing someone does not grant protection under this exception.

• Harassment Awareness or Education: Content featuring actual or simulated harassment to raise awareness or educate others on the effects of cyberbullying is permitted, provided all participants are willing and the content is clearly marked as educational.

Consequences for Violating this Policy

The following actions may result in penalties:

• Encouraging Abusive Audience Behavior: Players who encourage or incite abusive behavior from their audience will face penalties.

• Insulting or Abusing Individuals: Players who repeatedly target, insult, or abuse an identifiable individual based on their intrinsic attributes across multiple Creations will be penalized.

• Exposing Others to Harm: Players who expose others to physical harm or risk based on the local social or political context will be penalized.

• Inciting Hostility for Financial Gain: Players who incite hostility between Players for personal financial gain will face penalties.

Content Labeling and Restrictions

Content that includes strong language, violence, gore, sexual themes, nudity, or that covers sensitive or offensive topics must be properly labeled. Such content will receive a voluntary Restriction Penalty. Creations, Products, or Groups that are mislabeled or contain illegal, pornographic, inappropriate, or chaotic material will be removed and may result in further penalties.
