False Reporting

At UPUN, we take the reporting of violations seriously to maintain a safe and respectful community. However, the integrity of our reporting system depends on all Players submitting genuine and accurate reports. False reporting, or the intentional submission of misleading or fabricated reports, is strictly prohibited.

What Constitutes False Reporting?

False reporting occurs when a Player intentionally submits a report:

• With the intent to deceive: Fabricating claims or evidence against another Player or content.

• For malicious purposes: Using the reporting system to target or harass others, or to disrupt the platform.

• Without legitimate cause: Submitting reports without any real violation or concern, simply to waste time or attention.

Consequences of False Reporting

Engaging in false reporting undermines the fairness of the community and disrupts moderation processes. Players found submitting false reports may face penalties, including but not limited to:

• Warnings: For first-time or minor offenses, Players may receive a warning regarding the misuse of the reporting system.

• Report Restrictions: Repeated offenses may result in the suspension or revocation of the Player’s ability to submit reports.

• Account Penalties: In severe cases, false reporting can lead to penalties such as account suspension or termination.

Good Faith Reporting

UPUN encourages all Players to report violations in good faith. If you believe content or behavior violates UPUN’s Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, submit a report with relevant evidence. Even if your report is not upheld, as long as it was made with honest intent, no penalty will be applied. By ensuring all reports are made with integrity, we can maintain a fair and trustworthy community on UPUN.
