At UPUN, respecting the intellectual property (IP) rights of others is essential to maintaining trust within our community and safeguarding the integrity of creative work. Players are required to respect both the UPUN community and the broader internet by adhering to the Terms of Service of other platforms and companies when using third-party elements.

• Adherence to Licensed Material: Ensure that all third-party materials and external elements you use in Creations or Products comply with the terms of their licenses.

  • Understand the terms of use for any third-party content and confirm that you have the necessary permissions.

• Transparency in Communication: If your Creation or Product involves external elements, inform other Players clearly and be upfront about any associated costs or licenses to avoid misunderstandings.

• Verify Content Origins: Before using third-party materials in Service Orders or Creations, verify the source and ensure that proper permissions are in place.

• Assume IP Protection: Always assume that online content is protected by intellectual property rights, even if it is freely available, unless confirmed otherwise.

• Keep Records: Maintain documentation or records of licenses, permissions, or usage rights for any external materials. This can serve as proof in the event of any reports or disputes regarding copyright.

• Fostering Respect for IP Rights: By promoting transparency and respect for copyright, licensing, and third-party rights, we create a thriving and lawful community. Every Player plays a part in ensuring the creative process is exciting, legal, and respectful.

• Consequences for IP Infringement: Violating IP rights or using unlicensed materials may result in the removal of the offending materials and may lead to penalties, including suspension or termination of the Player’s account.
