Products: Exclusive Use License

UPUN offers Players the option to purchase digital Items, Services, and complete Quests with Exclusive Use licenses, providing full ownership rights to the deliverables. This policy outlines the terms for Exclusive Use, allowing Players to have complete control over the deliverables, including the ability to republish them as their own.

Exclusive Use License

• The Exclusive Use license transfers complete ownership of the deliverable items to the Buyer. The Buyer has the right to use, modify, distribute, and republish the deliverables in any manner they choose.

• Upon purchasing a Product with an Exclusive Use license, the deliverable is permanently removed from the UPUN Shop, as the rights to the deliverable no longer belong to the original creator.

License Upgrades

• Players can upgrade the deliverables of a Service or Item to an Exclusive Use license through a request or additional purchase.

• Once upgraded, the Buyer gains full ownership rights to the deliverables, and the original creator relinquishes all claims to the content.

Documentation Provided

The Exclusive Use license includes documentation that certifies the transfer of ownership. This documentation may be required in cases of copyright disputes or infringement reports, allowing the Buyer to enforce their exclusive ownership rights.

Republishing Rights

While it is generally forbidden to republish deliverables obtained from UPUN as Products, the Exclusive Use license provides an exception. Buyers who obtain exclusive rights may republish the deliverables as their own Products or part of a new creation.

Permanent Removal from Shop

Once a deliverable is purchased with an Exclusive Use license, the Product is permanently removed from the Shop. The original owner loses the ability to sell or distribute the deliverable further, ensuring that the Buyer retains sole ownership and control over the content.
