Young Player Policy

UPUN is a creative and social space open to everyone, allowing Players to create, upload, share, and view content within a moderated environment. We understand the importance of safeguarding our Young Players, and we have established clear terms and policies to ensure their safety while fostering creative expression and social interaction. The following outlines key areas of our app that are especially relevant to Young Players and their Parents/Guardians:

Content Safety

While UPUN strives to provide a safe and moderated environment, the platform may include content such as harsh language, mild themes of violence or sexuality, and other potentially offensive material uploaded by other Players. Our moderation team works diligently to limit exposure to inappropriate content, but some sensitive material may occasionally reach Young Players.

In-App Currency and Purchases

UPUN uses virtual currency for microtransactions, which can be purchased with real money. Parents and Guardians, we strongly encourage you to monitor your Young Player’s use of currency within the app to ensure responsible spending. Make sure you are aware of your child's transactions to avoid any unexpected purchases.

Events and Location Sharing

UPUN hosts public and private events, some of which may display physical location details and attendance features. For Young Players, certain features related to events will be restricted or limited to ensure their safety. Reminder: Parents/Guardians, please review event-related features in your Young Player's account settings to manage their level of participation in these activities.

Communication Between Players

Players on UPUN can interact with one another through several communication channels, including Direct Messaging, Comments, Reviews, Groups (Unions), Multiplayer Game Servers, and Forums. While we encourage positive and respectful interactions, it's essential for Parents and Guardians to monitor their Young Player's communications to ensure they are not engaging in inappropriate behavior or sharing personal information. Digital Item Purchases

UPUN allows Players to purchase digital items, some of which may be downloaded directly to a Player’s device, even after their account has been deleted or blocked. We recommend that Parents/Guardians oversee their Young Player's in-app purchases to prevent unnecessary spending or access to inappropriate content.

Player-Generated Content

UPUN provides Players with the opportunity to create or upload various forms of content, such as videos, images, audio files, documents, playlists, digital items, and more. This content is linked to a Player’s public identity and may be shared across the UPUN platform, website, and affiliated media outlets. Note: Parents/Guardians, please review your Young Player's activities to ensure they are not sharing personally identifiable information or creating inappropriate content.

Reporting Concerns

UPUN takes the safety and well-being of all Players seriously, especially our Young Players. We encourage Players to submit reports if they encounter harassment, bullying, abuse, or any other concerns. Reports are reviewed by Customer Service Representatives, Staff Members, or Administrators, with priority given to resolving issues affecting Young Players. Parents/Guardians, we urge you to talk to your Young Player about the importance of reporting any issues they may encounter and assure them that UPUN is committed to creating a safe environment for everyone.
