UPUN was created provide a platform for content creators and content enjoyers to reignite their passion for media. Using video game tropes, UPUN reimagines the content viewing experience by incentivizing interactions beyond vanity metrics (likes/followers/subscriptions) using XP points. Players who create an account must earn XP in order to progress in their campaigns. Starting from LVL 1, the goal of this game is for each Player to achieve LVL 100 and gain access to The End, a special area on the app locked away with a special badge of achievement. The App That Evolves

UPUN offers a new way to play by giving content a game controller. We host a handful of gamified features and unique mechanics that allows anyone to play their way and still achieve LVL 100 in record time!

Multi-Media Platform

Players can upload videos, audio, images, books, interactive media, and more, allowing Players to build a public portfolio that showcases their skills across multiple mediums.

The Interactive

UPUN allows the development of multi-media projects known as Interactives. These projects are complex interactive experiences made up of video, audio, images, and text, structured similar to how a movie is composed. Each "Scene" is content displayed to the visitor, and these scenes are paired with a controller that the visitor may engage with. An engagement will lead the visitor to a different Scene, so on and so forth until the visitor is guided toward the end of the "Act". The visitor will flow through various Acts until they reach the "Finale" of the Interactive, ending with a varied experience each time.

Experiences

Interacting with Creations, Products, and Group events on UPUN will start an Experience (usually at a cost). Once an Experience has ended (depending on the requirements of the Material being interacted with), a reward is distributed. Whether completing quests, engaging with content, or participating in events, Players are rewarded with XP, Love (♥), and in-game resources. This not only enhances engagement but creates a sense of progression and accomplishment within the app’s ecosystem.

XP System

UPUN features a system that rewards and encourages engagment. For this to work, Player accounts are given attributes similar to a video game that are affected through various interactions. HP (Health Points) resemble the account's integrity, often affected by Penalties or high level Creations. NRG (Energy Points) resemble the account's capacity of interaction, as most activities require NRG in order to proceed. These attributes and others are used to enforce balance and grant substance to the XP system.

Skills

Earn and use skill "Bytes" to upgrade your skill tree! Skills can increase attributes, boost vote power, modify system behaviors, unlock profile features, and much more. Guarantee a successful campaign by crafting the best skill build.

Upgrades

Creations, Products, and Groups may be upgraded to modify their cost and rewards, offering extra incentive for Players to engage.

Upvote/Undrvote

Players participate in the community by voting on content, which impacts the content's Polarity score as well as the Player's own Polarity. This creates a dynamic social feedback system where user engagement influences recommendations.

Earning and Spending "Love" ♥

The virtual currency system (♥ Love) allows Players to buy and sell digital items, services, or content (coming soon). Creators can monetize their work, and viewers can show appreciation by tipping or purchasing from creators.
